We welcome you to the Santa Maria congregation of Church of Christ located at the corner of Lincoln and Tunnell streets. We model our lives and our worship service after the pattern we find in the pages of the New Testament. There is only one church found in the New Testament, and it belongs to Christ. Jesus says in response to Peter’s confession that Jesus is the Christ, “…I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18. If you are seeking a place to worship where God’s word is the only source of the message, you have come to the right place. You are welcomed at any and all of our services.
We are excited to announce and introduce Bro. Drew Robison and his wife Sandy to Santa Maria. Bro. Robison began his work with our congregation in April as our minister and evangelist. Bro. Robison has more than 25 years of serving the church in Texas and New York. Everyone is invited to join us for these inspirational messages.
Special Study for Women. A study of “What We Sing”, is on Friday mornings at 10:30 at the building in the fellowship room. Sis. Cathy Johnson is teaching these classes on the lyrics and thoughts found in the hymns we sing.
Sunday Morning Bible Study. A study of the books of Chronicles is concluding. We will be starting a three-month study on “Foundational Truths” beginning in September. This study will examine core scriptures that have great meaning in our lives.
Our Wednesday evening adult Bible class is learning about evangelism and its importance to the church.
