About

We’re all about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people.

What We Believe

Jesus Christ - is the only begotten Son of God.  Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life and was crucified on the cross.  He is our Savior, the sinless sacrifice for sins of all people.
The Bible - is the Word of God, divinely inspired and preserved for our guidance today.  It is our only source of authority and direction.  We strive to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent when the bible is silent.
The Church of Christ - is not a denomination, it is the description of only church found in the New Testament, the church that belongs to Christ. It is the body of believers who have obeyed the gospel of Christ.  Each congregation is independent and autonomous.  Each local congregation has local leadership and is not part of a national organization.
Salvation - is available to everyone who responds to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Succinctly, the gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.  As a result of His death on the cross, every man and woman can accept the gospel to begin a life leading to eternity in heaven.  As a person hears the gospel message and believes, one sees their own sin and repents of them.  They confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and then are baptized for the remission of their sins.
Members – We are the Lord’s church bound together by our love for God and his Son, Jesus.  As a result, we have an abiding love for each other as fellow members of the local congregation.

Motivated by the Gospel

Our most important task as Christians is to proclaim the transforming message of the Christ. We are courageously and boldly committed to the Gospel. With God’s inspired word as our guide, we strive to follow the New Testament pattern for conversion, worship and Christian life. We want to be simply Christian in the things we do in service to the Lord. We seek to study God’s word diligently and practice what we find in its pages.

Simply Christians

The Bible, God’s inspired word to man, describes the group of people who follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as “Christians” (Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16). They were a part of the church that Jesus built (Matthew 16:18). We believe that if we follow the pattern for the church that we find in the Bible, we too can be simply Christians. We spend time in the study of the Bible and work to follow the pattern we find there of how to become Christians, how worship our Lord as Christians, live our lives, and raise our families as Christians. Our plea is call back to the Bible. We want to speak where the Bible speaks, but also remain silent where the Bible is silent. Our plea is for you to join us in our study of Scripture in doing those things that New Testament Christians did in service to their Lord.
